Welcome - I'm glad you're here!
Growing up—and figuring out who you are—can be exciting, confusing, overwhelming, and everything in between. Whether you're navigating overwhelming emotions, anxiety, stress, sleep struggles, difficulty focusing, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, it can sometimes feel like too much to carry on your own. Parents may also find themselves wondering how best to support their child or teen through these moments. If any of this feels familiar, you're not alone—and support is available.
I'm Sam, a therapist who works with children, teens, and young adults. With a background as both a teacher and school-based counselor, I understand how emotional well-being impacts every part of life—from school and friendships to family relationships, identity, and confidence. My goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted while learning practical tools to navigate life's challenges.
Because every person is different, therapy is too. With younger clients, we might play games, create art, or use fidgets to make it easier to express thoughts and feelings. With teens and young adults, sessions often blend conversation with creative, mindfulness-based, or experiential approaches that feel natural and engaging—not like you're being forced to sit and "just talk."
Take a look around my site, and when you're ready, I'd love to connect. Whether you're looking for support for your child, your teenager, or yourself as a young adult, we can talk about what you're hoping for and whether I'd be a good fit.
